Urban tree watering has traditionally required multiple operators, constant entry and exit from truck cabins, and equipment that wasn’t designed with safety, efficiency, or residential environments in mind.

Single Operator Efficiency
Designed for true single operator use, the boom utilises camera vision for precise vehicle positioning, allowing operators to safely and efficiently water trees without leaving the protection of their cabin.
This dramatically reduces labour requirements while increasing operational efficiency.
Quiet, Low-Maintenance Operation
Because the system is gravity fed, it eliminates the need for pumps, reducing noise in quiet neighbourhood streets while also lowering running costs and maintenance.
This makes it ideal for residential and urban environments where noise and disruption need to be kept to a minimum.
Extended Reach for Urban Environments
The extended reach allows operators to water trees on streets with parked vehicles, delivering greater flexibility in urban environments.

VEHTEC Water Arm – Operation Instructions
Water Arm Control Functions
1. UP/DOWN – Press once for arm to lower. Press again, arm will raise. Momentary switch.
2. WATER ON/OFF – Press once for water release. Press again to stop water flow. Latching switch (Optional)
3. IN/OUT – Press once for arm to extend. Press again, arm will stop. Press again, arm will retract. Press again, arm will stop. If not pressed during movement, arm will auto stop at each end. Momentary switch.
4. BOOM EXTENSION ACTIVE – Visual and audible indicators will activate on the control panel when any function is activated and will remain on until arm is ‘HOME’.
5. E-STOP – Immediately ceases all functions when activated, including power to control panel. To reset twist and release once safe to do so. Recommend waiting a minimum of 10 seconds before resetting.
6. LEFT/RIGHT – This switch controls boom on the selected side of deployment.
